Sure looked like it to me, also after he hit him he drove his helmet into his head while on the ground, but those fines would only happen if we werent the Bills
Just like the face mask along the sidelines on the punt return

Looks like his shoulder might have hit first. Much like the hit on Looker in last weeks game. Hard to tell for sure though

I don't think it was helmet to helmet, but he did drive him into the ground with his shoulder.

You aren't allowed to drive the QB into the ground, and it should've been a 15 yard penalty. I saw the exact same play called for a penalty last week, I believe during the Sunday night game. The ref actually said "unnecessary roughness, driving the QB into the ground and putting all of his body weight on him", something along those lines.

Mitchell went helmet to helmet on Warner and it wasn't called either.

Crappy officiating in general, not bias one way or the other. The refs have been unusually poor in the NFL this year.

Illegal hit?

It wasn't a Rodney Harrison spear hit. It was a simple tackle with force behind it. It's sad, but it's a part of the game. Edwards put himself completely out there by jumping, and the defender used his aggression on the team's opposing QB.

I thought it was helmet to helmet as was Mitchell's on Warner...in fact, start watching closely and you will see more "facemask" to head hits near the chin than ever before...Look at the hit on Boldin - wasn't that leading with the mask? I think it was. We were always taught to hit square with the shoulder...I think the players and coaches of all teams are insisting on the "head hits".

Illegal hit. Everyone I know that has seen that replay agrees it was an illegal hit. He was driven into the ground with a helmet and the defender never tried to let up.

I don't think it was helmet to helmet but it was definitely intent to harm as he left his feet and I'm pretty sure that's against the rules. He also purposely drove Edwards head back as they were falling and continued to do it after they hit the ground.

The ***** also tried to knee Marshawn in the face when he lost his helmet.

It was not a helmet to helmet hit, but definitely a dirt play. He took Edwards and drove him to the ground. That's illegal! I hope Wilson at least gets fined....

i think Wilson has been fined in the past for intent to injure helmet to helmet stuff...

i don't think he'll walk away without a fine because of the history there.

It was an illegal hit, no doubt about it. I expect that guy to get a fine this week.

Definitely illegal, and that push at the end where he lifts his weight and drives the helmet and his upper body into Edwards while he is down is him being a dirty player, see the play where Lynch's helmet was viciously pulled off his head and he deliberately kicked him in the face with his knee for further evidence.
