Time of possession is the key to our success.......

Here are all the games we played, note the TOP. With JP on the field, we have no sustained drives whatsoever, even on bombs we lose out on controlling the clock and keeping our D off the field. Lose the TOP, odds of losing go up drastically.

Having Trent in there managing the game, keeps us in the game. Trent needs a bodyguard or i'll need Prozac.

Check out how many 3 and outs Trent had and see how many times the D stopped an injured seahawks team. As you can see the O didn't do the D any favors . It's a good thing the seahawks O sucked that the D was able to stop them until our O finally clicked. It's a good thing that the seahawks, Raiders , jags were injured and STL rams O sucked , or else we wouldn't have been able to win TOP and come from behind to beat them

                TOP is the symptom.

Losing battles in the trenches is the problem. When the DL gets dominated, the team can't get off the field. When the OL gets dominated, the offense can't stay on the field. Hence, a loss and poor TOP stats.

The OL has to run block better and the DL has to find a way to get to the QB, even in the short passing game.

Pretty much Skoobs, can't disagree with ya there brother and TOP is one thing that Trent is MASTERFUL at, that has to be his biggest strength, IMHO. Trent is a great manager, managers win SUPAH BOWLS!!! I honestly expect to see Trent with a ring before his career is done, God forbid injury.

it's hard to have good time of possession when the only thing your QB can do is throw the ball far once a game.
