Give me your rating on where the Bills fall in with the rest of the league.

I know it will upset a few chicken little's here that I didn't put a top 30 Team option up there but even they will admit that a team with a 4-1 record heading into a bye has to be in the top 25 or better, it's silly to think otherwise. (Even though you may not after reading some of the terrible team we have posts)

Not even in the top 20, Op? We are at LEAST better than:

Miami
NY Jets
Cleveland
Cincinnati
Jacksonville
Houston
Oakland
Kansas City
Detroit
St. Louis
Seattle
San Francisco

That puts us at least in the top 20.

I still say top 10. We lost bad to the Cards, but Trent was knocked out early and the team seem to respond as though they knew they didn't have a chance without Captain Clutch. If we bounce back with a win over the Chargers I'll move us back to the top 5, if we lose, I'll drop it down to the top 15.

voted top 15. but i think its a little deceiving since i think we are about a top 12. not quite good enough for top 10 but very close.

I was debating between 10 and 15. So I went the homer route and picked 10.

We're going to find out over the next 11 games.

Barring major injuries, I'm predicting 6-5 the rest of the way. That equals 10 wins & a wildcard spot.

Listen guys, I said it once and I'll say it again.. This Bills team is going undefeated this year. **** New England, and double **** Miami and Schula because we're about to **** all over their record.

I'm not buying that. If anything our defense should have responded more physically knowing that the offense wasn't going to put many points up. They could have taken control and carried the offense but they got their face beat in.

The team didn't quit because Trent got hurt. They got their ass kicked because they weren't prepared for what Kurt and Co. threw at them.

We are still a top 10 team. Were 3rd in the AFC and the NFC just has the NFC east so i would put us around 8th. GO BILLS:D:

At the moment, I think we have the potential to go anywhere from 12-4 to 6-10. We're young and developing, but we need to get our O-line performing better, we need to develop a pass rush, and we need to get Trent healthy.

Somewhere between 10 and 15.

Saying they are a bottom 10 team is as dumb as saying top 5.

At this point in the season I picked top 15 (think actually 11-12).
As the progresses it will change.
But at this moment that's where I see em.

its hard to fight back after you've had the wind knocked out of you. And this defense knows what a game with JP at QB is like. The defense spent more time on the field because of JP's lack of ball control, then they probably did at practice the entire week.

Granted JP sucks, the defense spending time on the field didn't have much to do with JP. Even when we did move the ball on offense and didn't turn it over, it didn't matter because their offense beat the **** out of our defense. They scored every time they had the ball in the first half and completed every third down in the first half. And that was before we were worn down and tired.

I still don't think our team quit, or got the wind knocked out of them when Trent went down. Yes it was a blow, but it wasn't the knockout blow. The defense wasn't prepared and JP played like he has since he was drafted which why the Bills appeared to be dazed and confused.

at the moment if JP is the QB i'd say top 15-20 team solely on talent, but the results would remain to be seen,

with trent at qb they'd rise to a top 5-10 team if they play like they did against jacksonville/seattle week in and week out....

if they play like they did against oakland/st. louis (first 3 quarters)/arizona.... be prepared for a long rest of the year, because you can only play catch up so many times.

head to head though, the bills should have the advantage in the 2 most important parts defense and ST.

with Edwards, the Bills could possibly be a Top 10 team. with Losman, this team is s**t.

In what world are the Bills not a top 20 team? I would love to hear the rational on this one. Saying they are top 5 is more logical then saying not top 20.

How can you possibly say that when you say that there are 7 *AFC* teams that are better than the Bills?

Oh, if you put it that way, the Bills are the 14th best team in the league. They're slightly above middle of the road.

MikeInRoch

I think you are mis-interpreting what I'm saying. In two different posts, you made the claims:

- The Bills are, at best, the 8th best team in the AFC.
- The Bills are the 8th or 9th best team in the NFL.

I want to know how you think these two things are possibly consistent. Or, if one of those claims is incorrect, which one were you wrong about?
