But good job, Skoob. I didn't see what you wrote yet, I'll check it out. But it is true.Buffalo Bills Now! and NFL Now! podcasts

Nice work Sal, good read.
In the end, there are only three liberal archetypes: The fools, the beneficiaries and the crooks.
"If you build a man a fire, he'll be warm for a day, but if you set a man on fire, he'll be warm for the rest of his life"Optyimus Ignorus Realityious!
"Let every nation know, whether it wishes us well or ill, that we shall pay any price, bear any burden, meet any hardship, support any friend, oppose any foe, to assure the survival and the success of liberty.
- John F. Kennedy, January 20, 1961
To live in the presence of great truths and eternal laws,
to be led by permanent ideals -
that is what keeps a man patient
when the world ignores him,
and calm and unspoiled when the world praises him. -- Honore De Balzac

I'd consider it an honor if you stole my words. It's good to see common sense published instead of distinct multi-lateral doomsday scenario's posted by people with walls up for a better day. The sun can't shine in my house, there's a shade in the way I put up.

Re: What We Learned in Week 5
Nice write-up Sal. Unfortunately for Aaron Rodgers, he's on the wrong side of the 'QB gets too much credit for a win and too much blame for a loss.' Funny how quickly things change after one or two games; after the Patriots beat the Jets a couple weeks ago most of the media was congratulating the Packers for going with Rodgers, and burying Favre; now everybody has jumped off the Rodgers bandwagon and back on to the Favre love-fest.

Re: What We Learned in Week 5
kudos sal.... very articulate and an easy read
agreed on the part of the write-up
and who would have thunk it that the AFC east may be just as competitive if not more so, than the NFC east.......
5 weeks down..... 12 more to go!!

Out of those 8 games, we play 5 against AFC East teams (the bolded weeks).
That doesn't make sense? Did I not explain it right?Buffalo Bills Now! and NFL Now! podcasts

Re: What We Learned in Week 5
coach, since you are a well thought out guy and your articles generally are spot on, i'd be interested on your gut feeling about miami. are we witnessing them win their two wins in back to back weeks, or is this team really going to be in the middle of the pack much quicker than anticipated?
I think the cold weather pennington who throws the out pass pick is going to show up soon. and that will make it much easier to stop the running game of ronnie brown.
