You're the GM of the Cincinnati Bengals, Chad "Ocho Cinco" has been a thorn in your side since the beginning of the off season. Here we are week 6 right before the deadline, 85 has yet to put up 100 on the year and becoming a week in and week out distraction. The phone rings and you get an offer for CJ.
Its a 3rd Round pick from the Dallas Cowboys.
What do you do?

Ask for a conditional second, it's about as much as you'll get for him now.

Counter with a 3rd this year, Conditional 1st next, structured like:
1st-Super Bowl Appearance or Pro-Bowl Starter
2nd-Playoffs
3rd-If no above conditions are met

Is he a free agent after this year? If so, than I would trade him for a 3rd rounder. If not, than I'd want at least a 2nd round pick, if not 1st round pick for him. Considering Dallas probably will end up with the 25th pick or lower.

I don't need a trade proposal to do that. :shout:
