    Top 5/Bottom 5 after Week 5

I know it's not really Bills related (because I didn't include them in the top 5), but with the bye week, I figured it would still be good fodder.

Be sure to read the comments, especially for the "Bottom 5."

Nice work Sal. The Bengals have too much talent to be that low.

'course the Bills had to be close to your bottom 5.

It would be toss up for me at #6 between the Bills and Steelers. After looking at all the other teams with only one loss (Buf, Den, Pit, NE), the Bills have some of the best balance in all three areas.

I put Carolina #5 because they've played the most consistent football of those teams, aside from that one half at Minny.

Oh boy, putting the Redskins that high is risky. I wonder if anyone will have the online balls to thrash you all day long for it.

          What do you mean?

ESPN, CBS Sportsline, and Vic Carucci all have them #3.

FoxSports.com also has them at #2.

Considering their only loss was on the road to an undefeated team, why do you say it's "risky?"

People here are not sold on the 'skins.

And some think the Bills are one of the worst teams in the NFL. (seriously)

To be honest, I'm not "sold" on them, either right now. But they have played some of the best football in the league up to this point, so they deserve the accolades, regardless of my perception of what they really are - which is a middle-of-the-pack team when it's all said and done.

Washington beat Dallas and Philly on the road in back to back weeks.. That's about as hard as it gets.

They deserve the ranking. They run the ball, play good defense, their safeties are awesome, and campbell is finally playing solid at QB
