Bills | Morris Re-signed - from www.KFFL.com
Wed, 30 Apr 2003 11:08:56 -0700

KFFL has learned the Buffalo Bills have re-signed restricted free agent RB Sammy Morris. The team had tendered him a one-year, $605,000 deal.

I'm glad they re-signed the special teams captain and he's actually a good receiver out of the backfield. I just kind of figured fans of other teams would see this and say "what the....?"

Or maybe the offer was tendered earlier and he just signed today?

But who cares? He's still ours!

Why not lock him up for more than one year? He's one of our best special teams players and he's still pretty cheap

if henry gary and morris all make the team does that mean WM sits this year on PUP?

We started last year with 4 RB's (Henry, Bryson, Morris, and Burns), so I don't think keeping Henry, Gary, Morris, and McGahee would be a problem (considering Gary is better than Bryson could dream of being and McGahee has potential Burns would die for).
