NFL comparisons

[X-Era]

Compare current Bills players with whom they remind you of. Obviously they may not necessarily be as good or bad as the comparison, its really just as simple as who they remind you of. Heres my list:

Trent Edwards = Tom Brady- pocket presence, cool under fire, good accuracy, average arm strength

Kyle Williams = Jeff Wright- lunch pail guy who shows up and goes to work

Lee Evans = Lance Alworth- Evans may become one of the best deep threats in NFL histroy

Poz = Chris Spielman- another quiet, rock solid, lunch pail player who will command the middle like a general.

Poz reminds me of Urlacher. Obviously not by skills or anything (yet) but by his build and the seriousness they bring to the game.

I thought this too about Poz.

I think he loses a bit in size and nastiness. Thats why Spielman seems a better fit.

But yeah, I think in two years he may be considered top 5 MLB in the league.

Im still confused with the Dilfer thing and how Lynch is compared to Lewis and Bettis. About dilfer, how is he and Trent anything alike. Dilfer is known as a player who cant settle with one team and Trent is known as a top 5 young QB. Also with Lynch, Lynch is known by alot of people that he has the quickest feet in the nfl and he can make people miss. How does that sound anything like a 300 pound slow as hell, RB and a old fat RB who might break something if he even tries to juke?

I'd agree with the Jamal Lewis more than Bettis, the bus was a PURE rumbler who just happened to have great feet, which is a similarity but Lynch is more slippery.

Also - Boz actually had a decent career, contrary to popular belief, and actually made the all-rookie team. Time will tell if Poz's career will be as injury-plagued, but lets hope that isnt the case.

Also, Mitchell59 - are you really THAT young that you didnt watch the Greatest Show on Turf?? Az was arguably (and by far IMO) the most EXCITING player on the entire team.

i dont know what you are talking about bettis not having quick feet... he might not have been the fastest but watching him play i can tell you he had some of the quickest feet in football for as big as he was... and that is why i said a faster bettis... anyway trent reminds me a lot like dilfer because regardless of how much a homer you are (me being one of two saying we would go 19-0) Trent is an average to above average QB right now just like dilfer was in his prime, and he WINS games no matter what. dilfer was not the best but the key thing was that he won games

I know who Hakim is. I was just messin around, but if you would compare Parrish to anyone, it should be Ismail.
