    Jamal Anderson Update

    From the Boston Globe:

    The Patriots' pursuit of running back Jamal Anderson was scuttled yesterday by one painfully obvious detail.

    Anderson isn't physically fit to play football for the Patriots.

    Patriots coach Bill Belichick said Anderson was at Gillette Stadium on Monday for a physical and a tryout. Belichick wouldn't say whether Anderson flunked the physical, the demanding running drills or both.

      The consensus opinion from the dreaded "inside sources" is that JAM failed the infamous conditioning run before signing the contract. It was agreed that he get in shape to pass it, and then they will readdress the issue.
