4 is very high for this team, imo.

      Around 8-10 is closer.

I agree 4 is high, but whatever.

I feel like this is the most exciting and most unpredictable NFL season that I can remember. I never really enjoyed a Bills bye-week as much as I did this past week.

We need a win this week so I don't have to hear "is this team for real?" anymore.

The same people asking that watched the teams they thought were "for real" lose this past weekend.

          I love the NFL.

how did we move UP after a loss and a bye? That doesn't make any sense.

How is Arizona below Buffalo? This is why I hate power rankings.

Re: CBS Sportsline new Power Rankings

Too high....records be damned. The best team we faced, 'Zona- 9, kicked the crap out of us. Seattle-26, Jax - 15, St. Louis - 28, Oakland - 29? And we needed to come from behind in the latter 3.
The O and D lines have looked progressively worse week to week. If that trend doesn't change, we're in trouble.
A convincing win this Sunday, and I'm totally on board. San Diego is a talented team but a team that hasn't been consistent. This is a game they should win with home-field. Let's see if they show up.

                  Weaknesses:
                  1. We need better line play
                  2. The inside running game needs improvement.
                  3. The FS' are not breaking up passes.
                  4. Did I mention the line play?

                  Strengths:
                  1. Good, young, energetic, never-say-die attitude and leadership.
                  2. Good starting QB play.
                  3. Special teams, of course.
                  4. Solid talent at RB...good 1-2 punch.

That's a great statement. Me, too.

It was awesome watching BOTH the Dolphins and Cowboys lose in such heart-breaking fashion.

Because the teams above us either lost to the same team we did or lost to teams who hadn't won a game yet.

As long as we have 1 loss, we will be ahead of just about every team that has 2 losses, regardless of who we have played.

Power Rankings are utterly useless and are a play to the masses who wander meaninglessly around the earth searching for the undefinable.

With the exception of the Titans, I think you could just throw a bunch of teams into a hat and pick randomly for the rest of your top 10. We may still have some questions or concerns, but so does every other team. I'm not saying we're the best team, but I don't look at any other team in the league and think we can't compete with them.

These next four weeks will be a good test of where we're at.

No way we're the 4th best team in the NFL right now. This is based solely on our 4-1 record.

If we lose to SD, next week we'll be around #15.

I like what I saw from their offense against the Patriots. Philip Rivers is carrying this team right now. The defense finally played up to expectations, but they face a tough one at Buffalo.
