2. It's irrelevant because we're not getting him.
The fact is that he wants a shot at a ring, and the Giants have a much better chance at it than we do. So, of course he's going to say something like this to try to get the Bills to back off. -

no, KC has an obligation to put a better team on the field. If, for example, the Bills offer a 3rd but they give him to the Giants for a 4th, the fans are going to be PISSED. Considering how the team has played recently, it's not a chance the KC FO can take.Originally posted by raphael120Comment

I have had the NFL radio on for an hour or so no mention of Gonzo at all.
Its all hear-say until its official.I remember that one fateful day when Coach took me aside. I knew what was coming. "You don't have to tell me," I said. "I'm off the team, aren't I?"
"Well," said Coach, "you never were really ON the team. You made that uniform you're wearing out of rags and towels, and your helmet is a toy space helmet.
You show up at practice and then either steal the ball and make us chase you to get it back, or you try to tackle people at inappropriate times."
It was all true what he was saying. And yet, I thought something is brewing inside the head of this Coach.
He sees something in me, some kind of raw talent that he can mold. But that's when I felt the handcuffs go on.

The title of this thread is misleading. Instead of saying "fact of playing with upstart Bills" it should say "possibility of playing with upstart Bills".
That said, I don't think he has anything to worry about, because it ain't gonna happen.
