    These are 06-07 numbers

    Through 4 games:

4-0 record, only gave up 1 point in a shootout win
16 goals scored- 4 gpg average (15 goals in the last 3 games)
5 goals against- 1.25 gpg average
    PK- 100%, 2 goals scored
PP- got owned in the first game, but scored 7 goals in the last 3 games.

In fact, the PP is better than 06-07 because the Sabres struggled with that despite being otherwise dominant in the regular season.

Two of the four teams they beat- Montreal and NYR- are damn good teams. The Islanders suck, and I honestly have no idea about Vancouver (Western Conf- meh).

I don't want to get too excited because it's a small sample size- only 4 games. But so far, this team has been extremely impressive.

There are two different Vancouver teams. One starts Robert Luongo and one does not.

But, Montreal is generally considerd a top 3 team.

why the hell would they start a back up against a Sabres team that put up 10 goals in the last 2 games?

They played in Detroit last night and Luongo started.

Did Luongo help score goals as well?? If not by average alone, the Sabres we're bound to score 4 or more & by average only give up about ~1.

Let's all make excuses of why we win instead of enjoying the win.

We started our back-up as well & scored 7 goals, just in case.

what the hell are you talking about? No one is making excuses. I asked why Vancouver started their back up and Lecter gave me an answer to the question

You're being overly sensitive. For once, I actually started a positive thread and you're STILL complaining.
