It's been done...but what the hell. Who are your picks to win the division and why?

I'll start:

Patriots: defending champs get the nod, for no other reason than they're the champs

Browns: Couch will be an Pro-Bowler

Colts: If Defense keeps teams under 25 points and they won't lose

Broncos: Griese comes back to form and Clinton Portis gets 1,500 yards and ROY

Eagles: No one else is even close

Packers: If Glenn can be the man, this team could go all the way

Buccs: Johnsons could be a problem. But, with that defense and Gruden coaching the offense...they should be set

49ers - they're young and Terrell Owens won't get his 2000 yards, but he'll be close

Pats....they have the easiest schedule IMO
Steelers: see Pats
Colts: titans will give then a run for their $$$
Raiders: i think sam adams gives them the slight advantage over the Broncos

Eagles: redskins are a playoff team philly = super bowl team
Packers: love addition of joe johnson
Buccs: cashfd is right on the $$
Rams: too talented

AFC East - Miami: As much as I hate to say it, they are the best team in the division right now, although the second-place team will grab a Wild Card spot (probably New England).

AFC North - Pittsburgh: Cleveland and Cincy might be improved, but the Steelers are probably the only playoff team in this group. Look for them to beat up their divisional opponents and grab home field.

AFC South - Tennessee: Another weak division, and the Titans are probably the best of them, although the Colts might sneak in.

AFC West - Oakland: Raiders best of this bunch.

AFC East - Philadelphia: Washington, Dallas overrated, and I don't think the Giants will be much more than .500.

NFC North - Green Bay: Packers get in, Chicago Wild Card.

NFC South - Tampa Bay: Best of a bad bunch, get to go to Lambeau and get knocked out again.

NFC West - St. Louis: Rams back in Super Bowl again.

Miami...NE will be up there too (wc)
Pitt...The EASIEST division in footbal
Indy...Tenn strong possible or wild card
Oakland...one last push before the retirement castle calls

Philly...easy division
Green Bay...The Pack is back
New Orleans...losing the Rams and San Fran was a true blessing to this team.
St Louis...Greatest show on turf...nuff said.

NFC wild cards...Bears and Bucs (although the Giants intrigue me also...)

AFC East - Jets. They're kinda underrated and if anything I feel the least bad picking them over the Pats or the Dolphins

AFC Central - Steelers. They're basically the same team.

AFC South - Titans. Eddie G. will be back in form. Colts defense still stinks.

AFC West - Raiders. They are never gonna go away.

NFC East - Eagles by a mile.

NFC Central - Packers. I think they are a better team than Chicago. Besides, they got Terry Glenn.

NFC South - Bucs. Gruden is the man.

NFC West - Rams. I don't think the 49ers will be able to get over the hump.

actually, i dunno if i'd even pick a winner in our division. I thnk each team is good enough to win it, but weak enough to not be able to pull away from the other teams

IMO the Giants willl be lucky to win 5 games.

I think it depends on their WRs. Barber and Shockey should put up descent numbers. But, it'll all come down to Collins, Toomer, Dixon and company

their o-line sucks as does their LBs. schockey is the real deal though. i still say move seahorn to FS...he would be a great ball hawk there.

AFC East: Miami (easily the best team in the division)
AFC North: Pittsburgh (they should win this one by at least 2 games)
AFC South: Tennessee (I think they will be very good again this year while I don't think Dungy can make the Colts defense great, he can make them average, he needs talent to make them great)
AFC West: Denver (Oakland is too old and Denver will be back)

NFC East: Philadelphia (they are good everywhere, but Washington will contend because of their DEFENSE)
NFC North: Green Bay (Chicago is very overrated. Green Bay has a good defense and a good offense but their recievers are we below average)
NFC South: Tampa Bay (this division will be close with three contenders, but Tampa Bay will pull it out. Atlanta is my surprise team this season)
NFC West: St. Louis (easily the best but San Francisco will be very good as well)

NE- I smell simultaneous meltdowns in Miami (horrible OL) and Jets (QB, DB's). With the right breaks, and the planets in alignment, our boys have a punchers chance. :punch:

Pitt going away
Titans rebound
Denver, once Beurline starts

Philly
Bears - their defense is the best in the NFL in years
TB
Rams

AFC East - Bills! Hey, no one else is picking them.

AFC North - Browns. Very good D and better offense than Pittsburgh.

AFC South - Colts. Look for the powerhouse O to return!

AFC West - Broncos. Very underrated offense with an improved defense.

NFC East - Redskins - Fun n gun will work. Defense is amazing.

NFC North - Da Bears

NFC South - Buccaneers - Gruden brings some Offensive punch.

NFC West - 49ers. Rams could take it...up in the air.
