Aside from what happened to him, I actually miss him as a player. In a time where we need a TE badly, he wouldve helped that need. It takes a WR long to develop, and it takes a TE longer. Even Winslow didnt make a huge impact untill last year. If you look at some players who alot of people gave up on, then they turned it around. Youboty, McGee, and Whitner, have all taken alot of critisism and now are some of our best defensive players.
I cant believe it, but I actually miss KE

He could've turned out to be a good player. It was bad luck, but at least he's able to walk and live a normal life.Resign our own guys!

Did Everett even had an NFL reception? I mean, I feel bad for the guy that he had such a tragic end to his NFL career, but it's not like he was anything but a special teamer. People act as if he was a 1,000 yard a year TE with unlimited ability, when in reality he was a backup, at best, with limited blocking ability, and suspect route-running ability.

I'm not saying Everett wouldn't have turned into something useful, but it's hard to say you miss a player who basically did jack as his tenure as a Bill.

It's hard to say though. I have no idea how he would've turned out.
He missed his entire rookie season with an injury. His 2nd season, which was essentially his rookie season, he didn't do much. Then his career ended during the 1st game of his 3rd season. He basically only played 1 full season.
I think we could've made a good judgement if we watched him play during that 3rd season. He had great athletic ability, was very fast, and had good size too.
When we drafted him, we knew he was raw. He's one guy that I wish could've gotten a chance to develop.
