Looking at our needs in the 2006 season..who would you have taken. I thik we got the best pick we could have honestly. You could say jay cutler..but we didnt need a 1st rd qb that year.

i was sooooo pissed that day. i remember i couldn't even remember the guys name for about a week... now it is starting to pay off. i was hopining that we would have picked cutler but i am happy we have whitner nowI feel a win streak coming and a Bills Playoff Run!!!

Nobody, in retrospect we made the right move. People need to really lay off Whitner, he is doing exactly what the system asks of him. In this defense the SS is not the play maker that it is in the Steelers or Ravens defense. Reed and Polamalu live on the LOS, Whitner is constantly 15-20 yards down field and the fact that teams RARELY hit a deep ball on us, or even attempt a deep ball on us, tells me that Whitner and Simpson are doing EXACTLY what is asked of them.
And you can have Ngata, I'll take Stroud any day.Comment
