That is what I hear too. It would seem that its a power outage for the area around Ralph Wilson Stadium as well. All we can do is sit and wait I guess.

It was very well handled. There was no way to let the crowd in on what was going on. They delayed the game on the field. The coaches came down to the field and the refs and coaches communicated very well. It was actually enjoyable not to have music blasting every three seconds. Good job by all really except for some fan that let out a balloon full of helium near power lines.

The reason for the power outage is because of a helium balloon that got caught up in the transformer right outside the stadium in front of the scoreboard. The string acted a conducter apparently and blew the whole thing. I just thought Ralph was cuttin back after signing Evans!

they just reported on tv that the balloon was made of a metallic material...it hit the power line and fused to the line. when the electric company moved the power over to the second line that one then blew because of the balloon. then when they got it all on line again there was a fire at a transformer a mile away...i'm sure this could all been avoided. :rolleyes:

I was there pregame and at about 12;30 there was a bang and all the music and jumbo tron/sideline scoreboards went out. And behind the main jumbo tron you could see smoke rising up from the street level. It was real eerie to have no noise during pregame. I thought the Attica High School Band did a very nice job playing to kill time after they performed their field show while the power problem was trying to be fixed.

I do have one main complaint....when the ticket machines are down, how ****ing hard is it for the people at the game to go back to the old fashioned rip your ticket stub off? WTF! I waited in line for 30 minutes trying to get in. Luckily I made it right for the intros or i would have been pissed.

Mikey, on the postgame show there was somebody who called in to brag about getting in with counterfeit tickets they bought on ebay...they have those scanners for a reason.

based on fat content alone, shouldn't the snack wrap win everytime? i feel like this race is fixed. no way a hamburger should be keeping up with a snackwrap.
