I've said it before and I'll say it again. Today, he is playing perfectly against one of the best teams we are going to play. He better buy the OLine a lot of hookers because there are going to be headhunters out for him.

I should also add even if he blows it (do you really think he's going to blow it?) that's one heck of a performance for a second year player.

With todays win Trent ties JP Losman with wins as starter, 10. In 16 less games.

please don't go there with this thread. silence. this is about acknowledging the coming of TE and the team that will define the first decade of the millenium as Buffalo Bills.

Edwards is amazing.

that guy is rounding into a franchise QB

Yes, i said that.

He's better then a "competent" NFL QB at this point. he's at the moment a Very good NFL QB.

He keeps playing like this and he'll be a Probowl NFL QB before the end of the year

------------

yes, and I'm officially gushing, but then i rarely get to do that.

we still aren't sure what we have other than hope. Yes, he's good. He faced little pressure today and tore up SD. It was nice to see from my perspective our team step up, show up, and make that statement today.

I'm moving us to contender status. You get good and you have a chance to get to those last two games...you get there and you have a chance to win.

I am very impressed with Edwards and I can't wait to get our run game going. It's going to be sick when this offense is firing on all cylinders.

Check our defensive stats today. That's what having a qb that can sustain drives will do.

Edwards is awesome. Best QB since Kelly...no doubt.

Edwards has one more step in his development i need to see to call him elite. but right now he's money.

I want to see him throwing to areas and trusting his WRs to get open when he see's certain coverages.

But other then that, wow.

looking at the game today... he outplayed Rivers the (statistically) best QB in the league this year.

The Edwards/Losman thing should be 100% buried by now, even by those who insisted on hanging on by the thinnest thread. There is no comparison, period.

But there is excuses.
