Buffalo just beat a very good team and we are 5-1! No one can say **** about this one! We beat San Diego, they didn't beat themselves!

Good teams have a record better than 3-4.

:snicker:

SD is overrated.

The Chargers are a good team. They have one of the best offenses in the NFL and we did what we needed to do to win.

Exactly. Why can't the Bills beat a team with a winning record (...on the road, with various injuries, and the worst backup quarterback in the league)?

Today, on the TV broadcast, they kept calling this a "trap game" for the Chargers. :headscrat
How can a 3-3 team playing a 4-1 team be a trap for the 3-3 team? Despite the circumstances for SD (travel, etc.), this makes no sense.

I heard that, too. Exactly what IS a "trap game"? :idunno:

in my experience a trap game is...

1) you must be coming off a win, typically a tough, divisional/rivalry win
2) you must be on the road (no such thing as a home trap game in my experience)
3) you must be playing against a team with a poor record
4) the NEXT week has to be against a team with a great record, rivalry or division foe, typically on the road... though not always.

that's how i always thought a trap game was defined, or at least that's what i thought one was.

weird, that they called this a trap game for SD, it didn't fit my definition of one.

I see. Yes, you're right - no way this can be called a "trap game" with that definition.

Whatever - we won. :D

What theyll be saying is. Dallas lost to the rams. Hows Tony Romo. What about T.O. Then sprinkle in some undefeated Titans. Then Chargers on their way to London.

We could beat every team in the playoffs last year and it would mean nothing for one reason or another.
