Let me start by saying I thought this was one of - if not THE - closest to perfect I've ever seen a Bills QB play. I'm talking about everything: accuracy, decision-making, big throws at key situations, pocket presence, etc..
25 for 30 in an NFL game is simply incredible! I don't care who you are, who you're playing for or against, or what kinds of throws you make. Amazing.
I looked up the Bills record for highest completion percentage in a game, and here's what I found:
BILLS RECORD BOOK
HIGHEST COMP. PCT., GAME (min. 20 att.)
82.86% Jim Kelly 11/24/94 at Detroit (29-35)
82.61% Jim Kelly 11/3/96 vs. Washington (19-23)
82.14% Doug Flutie 10/11/98 at Indianapolis (23-28)
81.81% Doug Flutie 10/25/98 at Carolina (18-22)
80.00% Doug Flutie 12/23/00 at Seattle (20-25)
Trent Edwards 9/14/08 at Jacksonville (20-25)
79.41% Jim Kelly 10/2/95 at Cleveland (27-34)
78.79% Jim Kelly 11/8/92 at Pittsburgh (26-33)
78.57% Trent Edwards 9/30/07 vs. N.Y. Jets (22-28)
77.78% Drew Bledsoe 9/29/02 vs. Chicago (28-36)
Trent's 25-30 is 83.33% and good for BEST ever!
FYI - the top 3 for one game in the NFL all-time are:
91.30 Vinny Testaverde, Cleveland vs. L.A. Rams, Dec. 26, 1993 (23-21)
90.91 Ken Anderson, Cincinnati vs. Pittsburgh, Nov. 10, 1974 (22-20)
90.48 Lynn Dickey, Green Bay vs. New Orleans, Dec. 13, 1981 (21-19)
