    Trent Edwards sets Bills record for completion % in a game!

    Let me start by saying I thought this was one of - if not THE - closest to perfect I've ever seen a Bills QB play. I'm talking about everything: accuracy, decision-making, big throws at key situations, pocket presence, etc..

    25 for 30 in an NFL game is simply incredible! I don't care who you are, who you're playing for or against, or what kinds of throws you make. Amazing.
    I looked up the Bills record for highest completion percentage in a game, and here's what I found:

    78.57% Trent Edwards 9/30/07 vs. N.Y. Jets (22-28)
    77.78% Drew Bledsoe 9/29/02 vs. Chicago (28-36)

    Trent's 25-30 is 83.33% and good for BEST ever!

    FYI - the top 3 for one game in the NFL all-time are:
    91.30 Vinny Testaverde, Cleveland vs. L.A. Rams, Dec. 26, 1993 (23-21)
    90.91 Ken Anderson, Cincinnati vs. Pittsburgh, Nov. 10, 1974 (22-20)

        The biggest shame is that two of the incompletions were horrible passes to open receivers. He missed Royal one time by a mile! I also remember Lynch dropping one. Not that it was anything bad mind you, it was just that those two passes did not fit in with the rest of his game.

        Trent was outstanding today.

                  Trent's superb play today has all to do with the O line protection that was fantastic. Plus Trent was ON FIRE.

                      look at it this way.

                      Trent has started what? 16 games in his nfl career. And he holds 3 places in the top 10 all time games for a Bills QB in terms of completion percentage, and every other name on that list was a vets. The names on that list are Jim Kelly, Doug Flutie, and Drew Bledsoe.

                      that's 33% of the best games by a Bills QB held by a guy who's started 16 games in his whole pro football career
