    My observations from the game

I'll try this again. I spent 30 + minutes the first ****ing time, only to lose it because this POS computer did something really odd. I hate losing something like that and wasting my GD time. Especially since it is never as good as the original.

    1. The power outage was a pain for those at the game too. I was stuck in line trying to get in for 45 minutes and missed the start of the game.

    2. Peters is getting back in form. He had at least 3 pancake blocks in pass protection.

    3. Hell, the entire O-line played well. Whittle did well in relief of Butler. The pass protection was superb.

    4. Robert Royal was a man possessed. I propose we tell him every week that a trade for Tony Gonzalez might occur.

    5. Mitchell did not play well until his two giant plays. He was not good in coverage and was over-pursuing.

    6. Holding the Chargers to 72 rushing yards, 31 of which came on an end around is sick. What great rushing defense the Bills had today.

    7. Chris Kelsay was excellent against the run, although he and Mitchell were burned on the end around big time.

    8. While McKelvin looked like a rookie in pass defense, he was very good in run support.

    9. Poz was a beast in the middle.

    10. Fewell is turning into an excellent coordinator. The blitzes were mixed up and well timed. Rivers was confused the entire game. LT had 41 yards. The defense produced 3 TO’s. The Bills seemed to know what was coming often. Holding this offense to 14 points is no small task.

    11. Holding Rivers to 208 yards, 2 TDs and 1 Int is pretty good too.

    12. Costanzo was a beast on special teams.

    13. Josh Reed is the same every game. Solid. Reliable. Turns in a few big plays. The moment I realized the Bills were going to win was after his 16 yard catch after the Mitchell pick.

    14. Dick Jauron has this team ready every week and has been outstanding. He mad ea good challenge that should have been overturned. One test of a well coached team is how well they reply to pressure. The Bills might be the best 4th quarter team in the NFL. Major props to Dick and crew.

    15. It seemed there was confusion after DiGiorgio was carted off. Chris Ellis finally got out there, but was missing on KO coverage at first and seemed to have to be told what to do. Losing Dig will hurt. There are no other back-up LBs on the team. Will they re-sign Spragan or activate Buggs?

    16. What more can be said about Trent. No picks. No sacks. A scramble for a first down. Throwing the ball to 7 different receivers. This guy is for real and even those who had questions on him should be starting to be confident in him.

    17. It was good to see some old friends who do not make it very often. Op, Dora, and Mystic were nice sights (OK, only Dora was. Sorry guys. It was nice you made it out to the game though)

Next week is big. The Bills cannot get overconfident. I have confidence that Jauron will keep the team on an even keel and level headed. Do not get too cocky, as I bet there will be accolades from the media flowing in. It is time to squish the fish.

So it is time to sing along!

    One more thing:

I stopped at Brunner's on the way home and Ryan Miller was there. I guess I know how he spent his day off.

I agree with everything you said, except Meathead got us in the "cripple entrance" at the stadium so we didn't have to wait in the long lines. But we were sitting in the endzone so, when the action was at the other end of the stadium, it was hard to follow down and distance without announcements or the scoreboard.

I did mine first, only to have my browser jump to another ****ing page and lose it all.

I am ready to rant about it.

BTW, nice abuse of the cripple entrance!

The crowd was electric, even if the stadium was not!!

Thanks folks! I'll be here all night!

                  A few more things:

There is more unity on this team than I have seen in years. These players are very close-knit.

From where I was sitting, it looked like Whitner would have the interception had Mitchell not had it. I did not see a replay with that angle so I am not sure.

And it is time to extend Jauron.

                    Errrrr - so I heard.

I disagree with you about Fewell...I know you're not surprised. He is far from one of the best coordinators in this league. He is very average...at best and is worse when he is on the road. I don't want to be negative today, so I'm not going to go any further about this.

Op -- What about when they were at your endzone? Wasn't that nice? You could see everything! I've always said, "If you want the best seat for watching the game, sit in your den. If you want the best seat in the house, sit at the Ratph!"

I was inside by 1215 and didn't miss anything.

I see that hit to the head really affected Edwards. He now thinks he's Montana in his prime.

I have to disagree with your disagreement. So we had one bad game on the road against a very explosive Arizona offense, we lost our starting QB on the third play and if you think that does not affect the defense well insert NE or Dallas here. We just beat SD and held them to 14 points without our #1 CB, Starting, Probowl DE, and our nickel CB. Additionally, we held the top 3 scoring offense (27 PPG) to 14 points and we dominated TOP due to the 3 turnovers that the defense forced. I am not saying he is the best but I will take him over most, just my opinion, with a spinkle of stats!
