Regarding the running game: It needs improvement, but does it need it right now? We're actually averaging about 100 yards a game between Lynch and Jackson. So while it could be better it isn't dramatically awful either.Comment

Schonert also used short passes to the backs as part of the run game. Add those yards in and our run game doesn't look like a weakness at all. Some people just have trouble seeing the big picture.Originally posted by jmb1099Comment

Look at it this way, with our two back system, we are not poundling the crap out of marshawn making him run 25-30 times a game. Meaning he'll be healthy for years. With Trent's surgical passing attack, we dont need to pound the ball as much.Comment
