just curious on this. anyone venture a guess. is the first half on film for the NFL purposes?

i may have a stupid question, but here goes: do NFL teams send scouts to other team's games to tape and scout, or do they simply rely on NFL tape?

There were NFL film crews walking around with handheld cameras (cordless), getting the tape of the game.

not a stupid question. i don't think they do. That would be a needless expense since most of the time the film is available.

I know that tv's were shooting during the game, but i still haven't seen highlights from the game, so i have no idea what footage is out there. I assume the tape that teams get are those arial shots and not CBS footage.

I saw the saints scouts using their cell phones to take the video while the dolphins scouts were drawing pictures.

They were showing highlights of parts of the games that were not broadcasted, so there has to be film out there. I'm kind of hoping NFL Network shows the game in it's entirety this week... probably doubtful, but it'd be sweet.

all the CBS Cameras were using cords and connected to the electricity at the Ralph. They were out. I watched several times and the camera guys looked bored.
