    Donte Whitner

I’ve been waiting for it for a while, and now it’s starting to come. Donte Whitner is starting to take those leadership qualities he’s possessed off the field, and translate it on the field. He’s starting to make more plays, and more importantly, he’s a straight-up general on this team right now.

Did not hear Gates' number called much yesterday. Wasn't really focusing, but I've got to imagine that we had Whitner dialing in on him. Was that the case?
Wake up, brush your teeth, and get ready for a day of hating the Dolphins. Or the Pats? How to choose?

i saw bryan scott on gates atleast twice completely covered in the endzone and he was doing a great job (one was before SD scored their second TD, other was the kawika INT)

of course i missed a lot of the game because of balloons.

I believe Scott was on Gates most of the day.

Bills gameplan was to use Bryan Scott as a shadow on Gates and to move Whitner around to screw with Rivers.

Also, it seems that other teams are gameplanning around Whitner so much that they won't throw near him....I love it. He played free safety, corner yesterday and can play strong safety and linebacker as well.
