i know who kerry collins is. he doesnt impress me at all.

just cuz the team does well without young doesnt make collins the mvp, it just makes young the LVP.

Lendel White has like 86 TDs this year and their defense is brutal, thats why they're winners

exactly. they play great defense and run the ball and the weakest link of their team is the MVP????

Collins doesn't even deserve a mention for MVP, Tenn is all defense and running, his numbers are mediocre.

Not many players have distinguished themselves that much this year.

Many of the usual suspects are either out (Brady) or having sub MVP years (LT, Farve, Peyton Manning, Romo).

Phillip Rivers has great numbers but San Diego is struggling. Plus he's a crying, whiney beotch.
Drew Brees has had a good year but the Saints are only doing alright and have some injuries.
I can't think of a Defensive player who deserves it.

Right now I would say the leading canidates are Trent, Eli Manning and Drew Brees in that order.
Eli deserves consideration because he is on the best team in the toughest division and is having a good year.
Trent's numbers, wins, clutch play and his critical importance to the success of his team (i.e. without him we are screwed) I feel make him a serious MVP canidate.

Dark horse canidate. Kurt Warner. Having a real good year on a decent team, if the Cardinals keep it up he could warrent consideration.

Trent is obviously the most valuable to his team. Will he win it? Doubtful. Mostly because the TD numbers just aren't there.

Saw the Trent interview on PTI and NFL Live yesterday, this kid just keeps on saying all the right things...I am more impressed with him everytime I listen to him. He is so team oriented, never takes credit for anything, it's all about the team. Maybe that tard in Denver should take lessons from Trent on saying the right things....

If I were casting a vote today, the three guys I would vote for would be Trent Edwards, Kurt Warner and James Harrison (Steelers)<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />

I agree with him. The whole team is MVP worthy.
