There's always a chance. Bills coming off a huge win against the Bolts, traveling to Miami then back to New York to face the Jets. Sandwich situation possibly? I'd say so.

They do have a chance but not much of one IMO. Bills should win this easily for the first time since the opener.

This a dangerous game. They run the ball a ton and they have a QB who is very good at finding the softspots in zone defenses. Our defense needs to be disciplined in their gaps and be surehanded with their tackles or it could be a tight game. We need to get them down and hold them down right out of the gates. Bills win 27-17.

If our defense shows even half the performance they did this past week against the Chargers I don't think the Bills will have a problem. I feel like we stack up well against their defense and their fans are a non-factor.

The fans yes, but it's still what like 85-90 degrees in South Florida and humid as hell. Bills could be really tired in the 3rd-4th since they're not used to that humidity. Didn't stop them in the past however, the Bills generally own Miami down there don't they?

In recent history yes we have. Also keep in mind that the Bills played very well against Jacksonville in Jacksonville during what was supposedly the hottest/most humid game in their history.

The defense needs to get off the field early and not let them nickle and dime them down the field with runs and short passes. I guarantee that is going to be the Fin's gameplan to try and wear them down and keep our offense off the field. Good tackling and discipline in the gaps is the key.

Thats where youre wrong. Im a FAN! I have no influence on the game as I watch it from my couch 1,000 miles away. I dont need to be calm. I can be excited. I can get cocky. Because I have NO influence on how our players play on sundays. so 6-1 it is!

they have a chance. They are a better team than their record indicates IMO. CP is a good QB. not great but capable of picking you apart a little piece at a time. Warner destroyed us that way. I think Cryami has a really good chance of making a game of it.

The D will hold up nicely in the heat. The difference between the Arizona game and the Jax game was the fact that JP was not keeping the offense on the field long enough for hte D to get a good rest. THe heat should not be a factor with TE at teh helm.

finfanlogic states ,the fish are a better team because they are ranked higher than us offensively .

Force Chad to go deep.

At least it's been relatively cool down here lately, so the heat shouldn't be as much of an issue as it was in Jacksonville.

On paper, we should dominate. But we all know games are played on the gridiron. If we are as good as we claim, then we win hands down. The team needs to show up on the road. We strugged in all 3 road games but still won 2 of them. IMO, we can't give them hope for 3 quarters and pull it out in the end.

It's time we took hold of the season now and play with confidence.

Will Schobel and McGee be back?

ServoBillieves
10-21-2008, 04:28 PM
If Terrence is back, this game looks a lot more lopsided, but if he is out again, that causes some matchup issues.

Not individual ones, per-say, but Terrence's instincts could snuff out the Wildcat the same way that the Ravens' D did.

The Bills should win, but this is a perfect setup for a trap game. We can be pretty sure Dick Jauron is reminding his team that Miami beat the Chargers at home too.

You would hope that's what he's saying but if you're a player on that airplane heading to South Florida it's way too easy to just think it's an off-game(as the Bolts and Patriots obviously did), especially when you have the Jets and Patriots coming up.

Here's the thing about Miami: Their secondary is hideous and Edwards will eat them alive but he needs a running game from Lynch in order to do that. Miami has a solid run D and is a top 10 team in terms of sacks. If they can stop Lynch they'll be either in zone or blitzing all day, and if that's the case it almost doesn't matter how good of a passing offense you have.

If Bills can run well, they slaughter Miami. If not, it'll be a really tight game.

While the Bills should beat the Dolphins, don't be surprised if its a close game. The Dolphins have played almost every team this year tough, ever since sparano and Parcells took over. Pressure pennington and take away the short stuff, and the Bills should come away with a easy win.

agree, I think my sig prediction is pretty accurate, its based on points allowed and scored, minus the fluke Cards game.

dude if you really want to stick it to us Bills fans, and I know I would, it woudl be easy to go to preseason time and find out how many threads talked about how bad the Dolphins suck.

I know I had them sucking terribly.

It's been a pretty hard time since Saban left. I couldn't enter a single thread here that was non-Dolphin related without people coming back with "1-15... you'll go 2-14 and make a 100% improvement..." Now people just ignore what I have to say. Revenge is sweet, but I should stop because who knows how the Bills turn out next year. That's just how the NFL works, and what makes it a great league.

After reading this thread again, ONE poster was correct. This game WAS part 1 of a sweep.

Something tells me he didn't see it playing out this way, but nonetheless, give the devil his due.
