Lots of footage for this one.. NFLN replayed the game Weds. night so I didn't do much besides the intro until Thursday.

I don't know how well the song works, but I've always wanted to use something from this band and now was as good a time as any.. Some good old-school metal though.

And I still don't have a clue what Marshawn is doing on the sidelines.. sword fighting? conducting an orchestra? frying an egg? WTF? :D

h264 requires a lot more horsepower than older codecs like wmv, divx, xvid.. these videos are sized down enough that it shouldn't be an issue, but if you notice the playback is jumpy, that's probably the reason.

1> If you have Quicktime installed, that should play it. Otherwise...

2> Download and install the VLC player - it has h264 support built in, so you don't have to install anything else.

If you don't want VLC to take over as your default player, uncheck the File Type Associations box during installation.

If you don't even want to install VLC, download the zipped version, unzip it and execute the program right from the folder without installing anything.

Only do #3 if you know what you're doing! And make sure you look through the installation options, don't just click through them.

I noticed something in the vid that's worth mentioning. At the 5 minute mark Edwards completes a pass to Josh Reed. Notice the blocking up front. Peters blocks the OLB Phillips (number 95). Dockery doubles the Jamal Williams (number 76) with Preston. This leaves Marshawn one-on-one against the DE Bingham (number 97). That can't possibly be the way it was drawn up, can it??? I would've thought Peters should block down on Bingham, and Marshawn is assigned to pick up whoever the first edge rusher might be, in this case Phillips. One of the fundamentals of pass blocking is the 'inside-out' rule. They didn't seem to abide by it on this play.

Yes, I was able to play the Rams' vid. But I just add the .avi extension.

Also, I installed a few days ago the VLC at home, made the same avi stuff, without this stuff, and still nada.

And you shouldn't change the extension to avi anymore, leave it as an mp4.
