Live Steam Week 8

Something new for this week.. well not really new, but you'll need to download VLC media player because I am going to be using H.264 codec. Once you have my channel running in sopcast, simply open VLC, File>Open Network Stream, choose HTTP/HTTPS/FTP/MMS and beside it enter, 127.0.0.1:8902 and click OK.

*For Vista users, you might need to input this url at the top where it says address (in sopcast) if the channel doesn't open when you click the link above, sop://broker.sopcast.com:3912/48856

*For Mac users, I'll post flash links for you guys, unless you know someone that will be watching the game on my channel and they have fast upload speed (2mpbs). They could give you their IP address and in vlc you would enter, their_ip_address:8902 *Just make sure they have port 8902 open in their firewall.

H.264 is a better codec meaning improved quality.

Where are you broadcasting from? im in miami and ive noticed the feed is delayed 20-30s from real time

my connections are good(online gamer here) so i was just wondering

NO.. because you will only get sound and no video. Windows Media Player does not have an h.264 codec using asf encapsulation so you HAVE to use VLC!

Does this go on the air at a certain time? I'll let my dad know about it since he's in Arizona right now and won't be able to get the game, since his slingbox isn't hooked up right now.

Usually a couple of minutes before kickoff....And thank you so much as always XS for making my Sunday yet again brother!!!!....
