Texans reserve linebacker Patrick Chukwurah and a female companion were robbed at gunpoint late Tuesday night in southwest Houston.
Chukwurah, signed by the Texans in March after playing last season with the Minnesota Vikings, and the woman, identified as his girlfriend, were unharmed.
The four suspects, identified as black males in their early 20s, took off in Chukwurah's vehicle, a black 2001 GMC Denali, with his wallet and the woman's purse.
The robbery occurred just before midnight at an apartment complex in the 11300 block of Richmond Avenue. Two armed suspects approached the woman sitting outside the apartment on the patio, with one grabbing her throat from behind, according to the police report.
