    Can we please trade Max?

I'm tired of watching him now. Ive given him years to develop the ability to finish. Trade him and a draft pick for Jordan Staal

I Cant figure out which of these he is:

Speed skater in a hockey uniform

    League leader in fruitless efforts

Sabres version of JP Losman, all athlete, but just doesnt get it done.

Doc, his time here is done. There is no saving him now.

          I don't disagree.

          But he was effective tonight.

He is gone next year regardless.

He was the same Max, flash and then burnout. He almost blew it in the OT. I've asked for him to be outta Buffalo years ago, why it takes so long with the love affair I don't know.

The Sabres are 6-0-2 a perfect time to bring someone up from Portland and work him into more minutes as they go rather than wait and see if a slump happens or injuries and bring someone up giving them a regular shift.

Trade/waive or whatever. He needs to go.
I've said it before and I'll say it again, I don't repeat myself.

He's been useless so far this season.

He has not scored, but has drawn a bunch of penalties.

He has not great or anything, but has not been as bad as some are saying.

He's turned the puck over quite a bit and is the same ole Max. I'm sick of him too and hope Darcy gets rid of him sometime before the trade deadline.

I think he has helped us more this year hurt us. He creates a lot of space and does draw his fair share of penalties.

I thought Kotalik was going to punch him. Or Mair. They were getting pissed.

The guy is more of an athlete than a hockey player. I'm sick of his shtick.

He manages to make you grasp your chair as he gets nothing done. Seriously, hes so exciting when he does virtually nothing, hes an oxymoron.

I'm not saying hes a bad player. I'm saying I'm sick of him not cashing in on all of that athletic ability.

And I have to believe that we can get a replacement in here who may not be as flashy but ends up with more goals and assists.

Id prefer someone a helluva lot more like Briere than Max.

I like Max for teams that play the trap, his speed can break that formation.

But other than that he is useless.
“You hold a players only meeting and get each guy to stand up and say what he can bring to the table... and if he doesn't, you punch him in the face.” ~~ Harry Neale, on how to fix the Sabres season.

See if we can get a first rounder for him from some crap team.
