Portland Update

Portland won again today against Wilkes Barre/Scranton to bring their record to 4-1 so far this season. Gerbe scored 2 goals and has 5 in 5 games so far this season.

Mark Mancari also had 2 goals to bring him to 4 goals and 6 assists so far. His 10 points put him at a tie for 6th in the AHL so far this year. The team may have changed, but the fact that Buffalo's got a deep farm club hasn't. Looks like this year has the makings to be great in both the NHL and AHL

AHL must be full of midgets. No way Gerbe is doing that good.

I bought a Portland T-shirt the other night with Gerbe's name on it. They have them in the store now.

Why can't he be doing well? The NHL has had little guys before....he has more fight in him than Kotalik and Kotalik is twice his size.

Another update....

Portland is 6-1-1 and that is tied for the Atlantic division lead.

Rochester... is 1-9-0 which is good for worst in the AHL.
