Way to go Dick! I love this move. On the day he breaks into the winning percentage for his career. (20-19).

Anything that keeps Dick in Buffalo for a long period of time is a good thing.

Now....

What happens if Dicky goes 2-8 for the rest of the season? Then we got a bad coaching resigning...I don't see why it needed to be done so early in the season but let's hope this team keeps it up.

Agreed.

Jauron has been infinitely better this year but we should have waited until he got at least one winning season before doing this.

I'd Thank You but it's turned off.

It was funny this week....hope you got to hear it. He actually did say, "Tony Soprano" in his presser, which is why I played on that angle.

Link is in thread stuck at the top if anyone want to hear it. Segment plays with about 2 minutes left.

This is great news for the Bills as an organization moving forward.

They've built a core nucleus of young players and now get to have the same coach who's brought them along stay with them as they all move forward together.

He's the right coach for this group of players.

Agreed.

Jauron has been infinitely better this year but we should have waited until he got at least one winning season before doing this.

The problem with that idea (that I, in theory, agree with ) is that this is his last year and there will be up to ten coaching vacancies at the end of the season. So waiting just makes the odds of him testing the market that much higher.

He does, he has gotten a young team to improve and get them in the thick of things. They need a few more pieces but they do look good for the future. He's a big part of it.

I don't know...mediocrity doesn't seem to be to high of a standard to be measuring a coach by.

I'll take 5-2 mediocrity. Let's not forget where this team was when he took over and where it is now. Last year's 7-9 record was good with the team he had, this year they are finding who they are. I expect good things from this team this year and next. I don't see them being Cleveland like, making strides one year and then floundering the next. I think the players have bought into him, they have only so much to work with and hopefully can build on this team.

How old are you?

Just asking, because my 14 year old sibling can see that Jauron has takin a bottom feeder of the league and turned it into a team that can suprise, win, and compete against any team in the league. And they are going to the playoffs for the first time in a decade.

So I ask you again, How old are you?

and if youre older than 14 and still cant see that Jauron is changing this team and franchise around, I highly suggest you get a catscan.

Actually, I can see this team still hasn't made the playoffs, so maybe you should get your head checked. I also know that Jauron has only one winning season and that being competitive should not be this team's ultimate goal. The goal should be to win the SB.

Marvelous

This is great news but with thee WORST timing ever..

-I'm so PO'ed about his bad coaching with making ZERO adjustments with Terrence McGee getting his lunch MOney stolen all day from Tedd Ginn..
//way to ignore it coach & stay loyal to your players.....

--But flame aside, He is the best coach we've had since WADE, Wade had a great team & Butler spent sooo much money with him as our coach.. Remember how screwed up our cap was when TD took over? I do! It was a mess and man i swear Tom DOnahoe gets such a bad rep, but there's no denying he was a alite front office guy with a real gift for number crunching etc.. I thought he was a scapegoat to be honest, because Modrak was there too doing our drafts and he got to stay etc..

----So yeah, maybe DC is our best coach since The Legend himself Marv...
So woooooot!

I still dont like him. He makes bad decisions at bad times. I mean how do you not go for it from less then a yard from pay dirt on 4th down. Does DJ have any control over the play calling on either side of the ball? How the heck does he not step up and tell the d coordinator to stop giving a 10 yrd cushion every f'n play to the Dolphins wr's.

How about that stupid challenge?

Thats another example. Like last week when it took him forever to challenge wether the SD punt coverage guy had his foot on the goal line or not. He should have some balls and just manup.

3 more years of gutless and being ourcoached. He's a mediocre coach with above mediocre players. We need an extreme change philosophy wise.

Funny how that works huh. I certainly can't lump them all together, but it's ironic that some of the know it all internet police look stupid months later. But don't piss them off! They might take points off your "rep" that means absolutely nothing in society at all!

BTW, real glad I didn't post anything here after the SD game :p:
