View Full Version : Are you ready for 3 more years of Dick Jauron? I'm not.

I hate the fact of Dick being outcoached and at times, clueless. If I were Ralph, I would've given him 2 years as opposed to 3, and if he couldn't get it done after the 1st year, FIRE HIM!!! What do you think? And if he had to, he needs to get better coordinators because these buffoons aren't cutting it!!!

There are holes in this team and DJ's one of them. Grip yourself! What's all this pie in the sky optimism? There are problems with this team. Hellooooo!!!

How about Dick's challenge yesterday?

That was classic. Down by 4, midway through the 4th Qtr., 3 valuable timeouts left, let's waste one on challenging if the guy was out of bounds on the punt.

where did i say we were without problems? im not gonna be like half the people on here getting their panties in a bunch just because we shot ourselves in the foot and lost a football game. The key will be to see if we can rebound.

Say we bounce back next week and shellack the Jets? Does Jauron get any credit for that???

for the record, I think he WAS out of bounds, as his left foot was on the line, there just wasnt sufficient evidence to overturn it. It was a puzzling challenge though.

What I'm trying to figure out is what would we have gained there if the guy had been ruled out of bounds?

the announcers were saying it would be illegal touching. 5 yards and some breathing room, i guess.

He's up, He's down, He's up, He's down.

Another emotional rollercoaster thread.

DJ has done a good job up to this point with game plans/personnel and there is no reason not to give him an extension. I am happy about it and can't wait till we play the Jets, let alone the possibility of football in January. I cannot believe I just wrote we might be playing football in January.....

Classic? If it was upheld there probably would have never been a safety. That third time out was useless in the end anyway.

Every coach makes mistakes. and then irrational fans like you, among others, think that firing him is the best move. Jauron came to Buffalo to a team that had been nothing but bottom feeders for the past decade. A team that was wrecked from the inside out, due to bad drafts, poor talent evaluations, corrupt organizational business, and horrible coaching. So Jauron started to assemble a solide core. Making the best with what he had. And, he didnt have much... Now he has his team at 5-2. A team without many housold names, or probowlers. No real allstars, just good, young, hard working players.

Now, I can clearly tell that you are uneducated. 1 year then cut him? You don't do that with any coach. It generally takes anywhere from 2-4 years in order to come into a franchise like buffalo, that couldnt compete at all, and make them contenders.

if we were to fire Jauron, it would piss off the team, and set us back 4 more, maybe 6 more years.

Bumps are always going to happen. But Jauron is a good coach, and we are going to the playoffs this season. Possibly with a division title. 2 losses do not make the firing of a good coach right.

No, I'm not, but there's nothing I can do about it.
