Damn, Adam said what he had to say and he got out of dodge...now we'll see a real game the next time the Senators don't catch the Sabres tired...We could have a battle.

It was hard to hear and a good portion of it was beeped out, so you really didn't miss much. Basically Mair just said that Richardson would have to protect Ruutu for the rest of the year.

Mair was fined the league-maximum $2,500 for an incident in the hallway connecting the Sabres and Senators dressing room after Buffalo's 5-2 loss to Ottawa.

Kaleta and the rest of the team should help him pay it. Ruutu punked both Mair and Kaleta, and it's good to see him standing up for the team and caring enough about the loss to be that frustrated. It's well worth the fine. Ruutu's a jackass and I hope Mair knocks his teeth out the next time we play Ottawa.

Why didn't Ruutu get a penalty on that play? The referee was VERY suspect last game.

The ref promised to help Ottawa out as long as Heatley gave his mother in law a ride home after the game.
