"I was surrounded by Chargers fans. When Lee made that David Tyree-like catch, I jumped up and yelled, 'Now what? What do you have to say now?' " Reed says recalling Tyree's Super Bowl XLII catch.

    THATS AWESOME.

Lee has the talent to be a great one. Let's hope his partnership with Edwards is a long a successful one.

Lee would have gotten this recognition sooner if not for the QB carousel that he had to ride for the first part of his career.
Should have known, way back in 1960 when we drafted Richie Lucas Number 1, that this would be a long, hard ride. But who could have known it would be THIS bad?

I have to admit that LE is deserving. I've been on him for lack of consistent production but once there was decent play from the QB position he has been solid not an occasionally flash player.

in today's NFL is far more rare for a player to be loyal to the team than vice versa.

Are you saying the team may have moved out of town and left Lee behind? Re-signing him isn't a token of loyalty, it was a sign of competence.

when the team drafts a player they demonstrate some patience through that players development...additionally, LE has not looked that well at times and they demonstrated patience through those periods.
