updates... nothing has been confirmed via tsn, espn or the such, but it looks like harris will be a gametime decision..... smith has a concussion...... spencer will most likely be out, unless he has a miracle 3 days of healing...

cotchery and coles will be good to go, but hobbled as usual..... baker will probably be a game time choice too

lets just go ahead and put fowler on IR. Like Singletary said of VD, he can do better for us there than on the field. Nah, lets just bench his arse.

Thanks Cuse! Can you keep us posted? I'm going to be away from the computer for a large chunk of the day and I have class tonight.

Harris appears to be the most serious

If Harris is out, that's a huge plus for us.

Not having Reed is going to suck something fierce unless the O-Line gives Marshawn his first 100 yard day...

Aaron Schobel and Josh Reed were not participating for a third straight day at practice, as well as guard Brad Butler. All three are unlikely to play. We’ll get an update on official injury report designations from Dick Jauron after practice. Ashton Youboty is practicing, but against looks limited by his lingering foot injury.

Melvin Fowler (C) Elbow (Practiced / Shared reps with Preston)

I think they're keeping this a secret to confuse the jets since Fowler is our secret weapon. :ill:

Agreed.

And jeez...just when we can agree about having Youboty back, Chris Brown goes and says that he probably won't play in his normal capacity!

Oh well.

Didn't you know they're actually working him in as an eligible receiver in goal line situations?? ;)

I heard he's our return man on ST to replace PArrish who hasn't done anything lately either.

Take Baker and Franks out and you've got a much-depleted receiving corp..

Who is kicking in Nugent's place? Did the Jets have to sign someone just for that? We don't think about them that much, but kickers are really important. Once you get inside the 30, having a good kicker is almost a guarantee you've got at least 3 points. Not only that, they are critical in the field position game.

With the Jets receiving corps banged up the way it is, Buffalo needs to play Cotchery and Coles tight and physical. Beat 'em up some coming off the LOS. Tackle with a little extra oomph. If you can make them a bit more tentative and wary of the hit, you'll get more dropped balls. Same with Favre. If you show you can get to him, he may be more inclined to get rid of the ball prematurely to avoid the hit.

jay feely has been kicking for the jets since week 2..... he's the one that had the 54 yard miss that was erroneously called a time out by the oakland headcoach at the end of regulation a few weeks back....

he's been consistant thus far

Jets picked up Feely as our kicker and the man has been really good. He hit the 54 yarder to send the game into overtime on the road against the Raiders...That loss still hurts

The Bills may be without Aaron Schobel and thats HUGE for the simple fact, I swear, this man ALWAYS seems to get 2+ sacks when playing the Jets.

David Harris is a HUGE loss for the Jets, but that means one thing and one thing only...Vernon Gholston will now have his chance to make some plays. I look for the Jets to play Calvin Pace and Barton as our two MLB's because Pace has played MLB before with Arizona and that would leave Gholston and Bryan Thomas as our two OLB's... With Kris Jenkins as our 3-4 NT...We should still be really tough against the run but no matter what... Not having David Harris hurts the defense, I just hope Gholston can have an impact type of game
