It appears Duke Preston has played well enough the past two weeks to vault into the starting position at center.

Preston was working with the first unit again Wednesday, even though Melvin Fowler was not listed on the Bills’ injury report.

Great news. Whittle just needs to stay healthy until at least Butler comes back.

Sounds good to me. Our run game has really improved over the past couple of games with Preston in, and our pass protection hasn't suffered too much, especially up the middle.

Hmmm did Preston get any more push than Fowler? Didn't seem like it to me. I will give Duke a chance though.

He didn't get more of a push but he didin't get pushed off the ball. That seems like a upgrade to me, not much of one, but still.

I'm not sure, since I never watch the centers, but I do know that our running game has improved considerably (in terms of ypc) since Preston has been in.

At the very most at least he is not accepting his block 2 yds in the backfeild, and is definlty been better containg pressure on pass plays

i will take it for now
