When Buffalo was on the PP in the 1st when it was still 2-1 I believe... he BLATANTLY crosschecked Roy as the puck was coming through the crease. Now, I know they can't take all the physical play out of the game and a team will get some leeway on a PK, but that's the kind of play where people get injured (not to mention it makes scoring virtually impossible).

I can't believe they let that one go.

I thought the same thing. The officiating in this league is part of why it will never grow into the sport it can. A lot of these guys are clueless out there and seem to hold a ton of grudges against certain teams and players. My feeling is, if it is a penalty...THEN IT IS A PENALTY!!! Make the f'n call, ref!

I guess if they were gonna get **** on by the refs, this was a good game for it.

They really, really, really sucked tonight.

The only player who played well was Sekera.

The refs have been shoving it up the Sabres asses all year long. They are one of the most penalized teams in the league.
