I actually thought Denney played decent, but he clearly shouldn't be starting.

Kelsay was great against Seattle and has sucked ever since. The FO clearly overpaid him.

They are some of the worst tacklers on the team. Denney on one play looked like he was more concerned about landing on the ground the right way than to wrap up the runner. Terrible terrible effort.:down:

Denney looked pretty good in the first quarter, in fact he looked like he may have been in the Jets huddle.
But the reason was that he was occupying passing lanes.

That isn't what we need DE's to do as a primary job responsibility.

We really need to get better players at the the DE position, or we'll continue to need two all pro linebackers and one all pro safety, along with the best corner combo in the NFL.

Fix the position, 'cause it sucks, and is really effecting the rest of the defense.
