Before Dolphins Pro Bowl linebacker Zach Thomas ties the knot in South Florida in early July, he has another important relationship to deal with starting today.
Thomas has to learn the ins and outs of working with his former hero and new linebacking partner, Junior Seau. Class begins this morning when the Dolphins open the first of five offseason camps at their training facility in Davie.
To Seau, who will don a Dolphins practice jersey for the first time in public, there's no time to waste.
''I don't have time to be a rookie. I'm not here to learn. There isn't a grace period,'' said Seau, a 13-year veteran and 11-time Pro Bowl player who has no Super Bowl championships.
