Since Perry Fewell seems to subscribed to MM's mantra of over thinking situations and game planning for the opposite of the oppositions tendencies, how will the Bills defend Wes Welker? He's averaging 7 receptions per game. He's obviously Cassel's primary target on the majority of pass plays.

My prediction: Fewell knows that the Pats O-coordinator knows that Fewell will be game planning to stop the short routes to Welker. Fewell, knowing that their O-coordinator knows this, knows that their O-coordinator will do the opposite and focus on spreading the ball to the other recievers. Knowing that their O-coordinator knows that Fewell knows that Welker is Cassel's favorite target, Fewell leaves Welker in either man to man with a backer, or just plain uncovered all together knowing that the Pat's O-coordinator isn't going to be calling pass plays to him anyways.

Final tally; Wes Welker; 47 catches for 562 yards and 8 TD's.

Not so sure about that.
