Rochester D&C

Leo Roth: Jauron is supposed to be a defensive coach, so he better start helping Fewell figure out how to beat the 3-4. You need to try and run the ball, finding the gaps up the middle. Giving Lynch 13 carries, then 9 carries, isn't going to cut it. of course, when your top back is throwing up, well...they need to get that kid straightened out because without a running game, Edwards has no chance to succeed and turn his season around. They are at risk of screwing him up right now.

What are they supposed to do about him throwing up?

They are running the risk of getting Edwards killed.

Just out of curiosity, maybe I'm missing something, but why does Fewell need to figure out the 3-4? Does he mean Jauron needs to help Schonert figure out the 3-4?

Even then that wouldn't make any sense because Jauron is the defensive guy right. So why would he be advising the OC? None of this quote makes any sense. Nice one Leo!

Well, he could theoretically advise Schonert on how to beat the 3-4. But it's not like it's anything new, Jauron and Schonert have seen it how many times for the past two and a half years? Besides, Jauron is a 4-3 guy.

IMO, Schonert is doing a decent enough job in the playcalling. Buffalo was 8/13 on third downs, which is even more impressive when you consider how one-dimensional we were in that game. Remember what happened last year when we became one-dimensional? Anemic offense. It's just the execution and stupid mistakes that have cost us the last two games.

If this keeps up, I'll be quite worried about Edwards among other things. But right now, it's just so uncharacteristic of Edwards's play that I feel like it's simply a fluke as well as facing decent defenses.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but the Bills did not try even ONE single sweep to the outside....The middle wasn't working so let's keep going there.

Ya, it worked against the Chargers. Im sure looking back they feel that they could have worked the sidelines a bit more.

Don't let him watch our Defense.

Nothing. But even Fred couldn't do squat out there either so this problem can't be placed on the RB's at all!!!

Don't expect a rookie QB to lead this team to the playoffs all by himself cuz it ain't gonna happen. That's why you hire 52 other players to help you out. Fans seem to forget this concept.

Trent isn't the reason we are losing folks.

He's only started 16 games. Seasoned veteran, I'm sorry.
