New York Jets 26 / Buffalo 17
Winner: Kris Jenkins (NYJ) was a force on Sunday. He blew up the Bills O-line at will, and pressured both the passing game and running game. He finished the day with two sacks.
Losers: The Bills O-Line allowed 5 sacks, and couldn’t block for the run, as Lynch and Jackson averaged just two yards per carry. Dick Jauron needs to tighten up the screws, the Bills are playing sloppy football right now. In their last two losses, they have given 109 yards in penalties.
Cincinnati 21 / Jacksonville 19
Winner: Chad Johnson (CIN) finally showed up for Cincy. Johnson had five catches for two scores, and helped the Bengals chalk up their first win of the season.
Loser: Jack Del Rio is really missing former defensive coordinator Mike Smith. The once playoff hopeful coach is staring at a 3-5 record. The Jags defense allowed the Bengals to rack up a season high 159 yards.
Baltimore 37 / Cleveland 27
Winner: Ray Rice (BAL). The Ravens had great luck from their backup running backs this season. Rice had 21 carries for 154 yards, and caught three for 22.
Loser: Derek Anderson (CLE) has been just another bad chapter in the Browns QB history. It started with love and romance, and it ended with him sleeping with your obese sister.
Minnesota 28 / Houston 21
Winner: Adrian Peterson (MIN) had his best day of the season, and, more importantly, his best day with Gus Frerotte as the starter. Peterson needs to create a better balance for the often confused veteran QB. AP carried the rock 25 times for 139 yards and a score.
Loser: Gary Kubiak is supposedly an offensive mastermind. Throwing the football 45 times is hardly masterful… you’re playing the Vikings, not a game of Madden.
