Absolutely. Very first play, throw a long bomb to Lee. Of course, he'll probably be triple teamed since he's basically our only receiver.

Play-action bomb first play. Reverse second play. Screen pass third play. Then lob it in the end zone to Hardy.

I think that the long bombs are getting called. But Trent keeps dumping it off instead. Either way, we need to go deep several times per game to stretch the field and give Lynch more room to run.

i havent seen that. medium passes, maybe.

and even if he was, maybe it was because they dont respect the deep ball so they're covering short that much more aggressively.

They sure could have used a few long bombs against the Jets. Lee can outrun Reevis.

I hope this isn't the case. If so, Trent is back to not trusting his wr's to make plays again.

What worries me now is that after Trents INT when he underthrew Hardy may have sacred him even more.

for the life of me, I can't understand why lee, james or roscoe isn't running a streak on every other play. The easiest way to open up the running game is complete a pass over their heads

i'd like to see the bills hit the inside slant throw that every team is working against us. it may get some of the LB's to drop back to stop it a couple times. That is Roscoe's move too! Let's use these guys the way they should be used.

i think the deep ball opens itself after the running game goes well. without it, you have the opposing DL stuffing the run and rushing the passer and 7 guys in coverage. no one is going to be open.

The OL of the Bills need to man up here. Better protection and better run lanes. The coaches need to step it up with better game plans, and TE has to stop turning the ball over. When he was good, he was near 0 turnovers. When he's bad, he's giving 3 TO's a game. Not good.

We can always just pitch the ball to Lynch and have him throw the deep ball. Might work better than our running game these days!

New Englands Secondary is a mess. This isnt a game for the short pass, we do need to open it up. Their strength is the front seven.
I remember that one fateful day when Coach took me aside. I knew what was coming. "You don't have to tell me," I said. "I'm off the team, aren't I?"
"Well," said Coach, "you never were really ON the team. You made that uniform you're wearing out of rags and towels, and your helmet is a toy space helmet.
You show up at practice and then either steal the ball and make us chase you to get it back, or you try to tackle people at inappropriate times."
                              It was all
true what he was saying. And yet, I thought something is brewing inside the head of this Coach.
He sees something in me, some kind of raw talent that he can
mold. But that's when I felt the handcuffs go on.
