Returning Veterans impressed by new-look Bills

Schobel is expected to benefit from the new additions as Adams, Posey and Spikes should free up his pass-rushing abilities even more.

''It ought to be fun this year,'' Schobel said with a wide grin.

Friday's session was split between individual, unit and 11-on-11 drills.

Posey looked sharp as a pass-rusher, while fellow linebacker Angelo Crowell, the Bills third-round draft pick last weekend, showed good range.

Offensive tackle Mike Williams, Buffalo's first-round pick a year ago, showed he hadn't lost a step, almost bowling over rookie defensive end Chris Kelsay.

''It's a totally different surrounding now,'' said Kelsay, the Bills second-round pick. ''These guys are bigger, stronger and some are even as quick as you. You have to be very perfect at what you do.''

yeah.. jones not participating in drills was the last thing that stood out to me too..

i am not feeling that he is gonna make it back.. we have heard nothing about him, and it has been about 6 months since he was signed and operated on.. not looking good for him.. denny better work his tail off.

Knee is coming along

Bills defensive end Marcus Jones is busy rehabbing his knee after surgery last season, which landed him on injured reserve shortly following Buffalo's signing of him late last year. Jones' agent, Greg Williams, said Jones is feeling good and is splitting time between Tampa and Buffalo this off-season. Jones added,
"I have a lot of respect for Tom Donahoe. He's willing to give an injured player a chance and it can turn out very well. Plus, he gets a player at a reduced price because they're injured. It's a good strategy, and could turn out great for both parties."

I don't see Marcus Jones doing very much. He only had 1 great year when he was healthy in Tampa. I don't see him matching that 1 good year after coming off of knee surgery.
