i just basically have to throw this out as a general statement.


ive preached jauron is no good = he keeps proving me right

edwards is nothing more then a game manager = he is not a number 1 qb he never was.

and the cover 2 is the biggest joke ive known this since the first day we tried to run it. its a defense thats basic premise is that the other team will eventually make a mistake that = JOKE

this team wont be good till jaurons reign of tragically below average ends.

i dont care who the hell is the qb because we dont have a direction in place

Maybe it was that our leading tackler last year is on IR, our leading sacker in the past 7 years is injured, our nickel back who wouldve covered welker is on IR, our starting RG is injured, our best clutch reciever is injured, or our leader of the team is injured.

Jauron simply isn't very inspiring. I mean, this was kinda a must win. The team looked flat as always.

You know what would happen to this team if we didn't run the Cover 2? Look at the Browns and Broncos defensives for your answer.

We play a style that limits the big play and hopes to clamp down in key situations, apparently this year the clamp down in key situations doesn't exist though.

You really wanna see McGee and Greer man up on Moss, Welker, Coles, Cotchery, Ginn and that's just our division. Throw in Boldin, Fitz, Braylon, Holt, etc from out of division.

In order to change scheme, we need to change personnel...and have to revamp basically the entire defense.

Then again, this plan and personnel aren't working either, this attempt at rebuilding hasn't worked and isn't going anywhere except levelling off in mediocrity...maybe it is time to blow the damn thing up and try again.

while i agree that we would be giving up big plays left and right and least we would have a chance to create big plays.

i think it would equal out. bottom line a REAL change must happen.

im to a point where i dont care who anyone is on the team just have a direction and look like you are trying.

no the shame is im a regular joe and i could clearly see what was wrong with this team.

we have supposed hired guns running this **** who have no clue.

we dont draft big men the only one we have in last 3 years (mccargo) is riding the bench. and i think that has more to do with politics then talent

i dont want a medal i want this team to be a factor.

while i agree with you. i will also say given the state of the FO and coaches we can write off anyone.

but i still think the coaching staff screwed up with the qb call.

next year i get to be right about that too

laugh away a proper coach that plays to their qbs strentghs
can and will make him into a player.

btw i still havent seen the other guy do better then 7-9

and ill call it now we will be 7-9 this year too.

You might have been right about Jauron but I don't think anyone was sold on him and many of us never liked him since he was signed. I don't think anyone intelligent should credit themselves for something that simple.

About Edwards, you may feel you are right now but just wait and you will see. Two crappy games isn't enough to make such a judgment specially considering the way he has played in the rest of the games.

About the Cover-Two, correct me if I'm wrong but didn't the 2006 Colts and the 2006 Bears played the Tampa-Two which is a type of Cover-Two? I'm not a big fan of the Cover-Two to be totally honest and I don't think we have the players to run it but still you sound like if you are crediting yourself for saying that this system blows when actually many teams have had a lot of success with it.


So basically you thought Jauron is not a good coach... wow, how many of us have said that? Should we all start our own threads?
