Bills safety Donte Whitner was working with the first team at the start of practice Wednesday. He might be a bit limited. We'll see what the team says after practice. Whitner has missed the past two games due to a separated shoulder. Guard Brad Butler, out the last three games with a sprained knee, also was back in action today

If he can't hit he is no good to us. Oh I forgot, nobody hits on this team, do they?:ill:

Butler is definitely missed. I hope he's ready for Monday. I don't care what anyone says, he's underrated and did a very nice job protecting Trent.

Good stuff.

Im sure he BADLY wants to play against his old hometown team.

And after watching Whittle and chambers in back to back weeks, that would be HUGE for Butler to be back.

he's not underated. He's played poorly this year.. Very poorly.

But hes STILL a much better option that Whittle or Chambers.

When's Whitner contract up? Is it time yet to draft another safety?

I would love to see Whitner play and have one hell of a game doing it. If he can put up a good game against the Browns in an injured state, perhaps that might motivate his teamamtes to give a little more.

Honestly, from what I've seen, Center has been more of a problem than LG. Chambers did give a clean sack once but, Duke CONSTANTLY was shoved into the backfield even when he wasn't up on Wilfork.

Did you see the Jets game when Jenkins through Whittle around like a rag doll before drilling Edwards? Or the Fins game when Peters pushed Porter inside and Dockery took a slap at him like a girl?

Don’t get me wrong.. both our centers are very weak too, but so are the guards, especially the right guard backups.<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />

Yes, it's been 3 years. Has Whitner made more than 2 big plays in his career?

The guy has 2 interceptions, 1 forced fumble, 1 sack in 3 years. Sorry but that is pathetic.

In this style defense his position isn't in spots to make big plays...

He certainly is living up to that.
