The Losman/Edwards debate is officially over

    The answer is "neither."

Not only has Trent failed to protect the ball for the last 3 1/2 games, but he has no timing and he's very JP-like in the way he stays in the pocket.

Seriously, even though I was skeptical about this team during the fast start, I was almost sold on Edwards. But now I feel like we're back in the Johnson/Bledsoe/Losman days. Every time he drops back, I just hope something bad doesn't happen. Incompletions bring a sigh of relief.

    I painfully, sadly, agree.

And Im back in the yearf-after-AVP-mode... if not our current QB than whom?

I think our draft just became WAY clearer. We have a big need, and maybe the biggest need of all... QB!

it's frustrating because the two most disrupting changes for a team are coach and QB. And right now, we have question marks at both.

        I disagree!!!

GET OVER IT,,, JP IS DONE with the BILLS!

Trent is NOW! I know he is playing scared but TOO BAD! That is how it is so support him instead of complaining.

The verdict is still out on Trent.

But we all know Trent > JP.

Trent is still young. 1 and a half seasons isn't enough to know.
He handled the first phase of his career very well, and he deserves to see if he can take the next step, to get the chance that JP got (and which I supported).

what if he never gets over the mistakes, like all the QB's the Bills have had for the last decade?

We waste 2 or 3 more seasons on him. Lynch Evans, Peters, McGee, Greer, Jackson, etc all get old or leave via FA, and we're right back where we were 2 years ago.

Draft another QB in the 1st. round and let them compete in training camp!

Maybe he deserves more time. But not much more.

Look no further than todays opposing QB. Who would you rather have for the future? How about Matt Ryan? How much experience does he have?

I personally am not a "he's gotta have a cannon and chuck it deep or I don't want him" kind of fan, BUT if my QB can't EVER chuck it deep, then that's a problem, a huge one. You gotta keep defenses honest.

                        He's chucked it deep before.
And maybe Quinn and Ryan are better. I have a feeling they'll have growing pains too

Funny, JP gets 31 games as starter, Trent only gets 19 before some of you write him off. Pathetic.

The Bills need more than just better play from the QB position.

Farve wouldn't help the Bills pass rush.
