I guess i just dont get why people think the dolphins are so good. I have watched them all preseason and they look horrible. Their QB is terrible and their o-line is even worse. Plus Ricky Williams is extremely overrated. If their Defense allows more than 17-21 points per game i think they will finish last in the division. We will hand it to them 2 times this year, i can't wait. Anyone agree??

I don't know about beating them twice...but I agree with everything else.

It can't be good if Spriggs and Nails are playing there.

A good line can make an average offense look great (i.e. the Washington Redskins they beat Buffalo in the Super Bowl) and a bad line can make a good offense look awful. I personally am not sold on Miami's line yet so Williams might not put up the numbers they hoped. Maybe Lamar Smith wasn't as bad as the line made him look last year. Time will tell.

They're a mediocre team at best (8-8, 9-7)

Unfortunately, so are we :)

Donm't underestimate the Fish. If Fiedler gets it together this year and with Williams in the back field, they could be very good.

IMO The success we have against them this year will dictate the season for us. Beat the Fish and we have a great chance of getting into the post season.

First off...its the preseason...your record in the preseason isn't anything to brag about either...

Our O-line has problem yes, but it does not doom us...I am more worried about run defense than the O-line.

Feidler....well, Feidler is Feidler...Good one game...horrible the next...You guys should be grateful he is no Marino. But, we should be able to put enough points on the board. I think the offensive gameplan for the most part will be to get a 14+ point lead and pound the ball, playing keep away.

If the D can get rest in earlier games, they will play better in the later part of the season.

OL is the Miami problem. The run defense will come around.

i see a split with the Phins like every other team in the division. nobody is clear cut better than every one else IMO.

They'll go as far as the OL and Fiedler take them. Defenses will play 8 men up to stop Williams and make Fiedler beat them. Phins is right, he's good one game, horrid another....8-8 team

Miami is my slight favorite to take the division, although I don't think they are much better than the rest of the pack, as I can see the Dolphins finishing 11-5 or 10-6 and either ending up tied atop the AFC East or a game over New England or the Jets.

I doubt anyone will be better than 10-6 or worse than 6-10 in the division. Miami doesn't scare me much this year.

Hell...whoever survives the division ought to get a pass to the AFC title game...I think it su ucks that Pitt gets basically a free ride to the playoffs... We in the AFCE will be killing each other while the other divisions prosper or toil...:scared:
