Trent- 20 games, 76 rating, 61 pct, 3623 yards, 181 ypg, 15 td, 18 int, 32 sacks (averages 1 a game), 9 fumbles

JP- 38 games, 77.9 rating, 93 sacks (averages 3 a game), 27 fumbles, 32 tds, 30 int, 59 cpt, 5847

Trents total in 38 games

28 TDs, 31 int, 6878 yds, 94 rating

Remember, JPs are scewed a little because of the 1 game this year.

I think we can dissect these numbers all we want but the bottom line is I fear neither one is a QB that can get the job done on a consistent basis. God I hope I'm wrong though and that Edwards shows the promise he did at the beginning of the year.

trent 20 games...32 sacks....averages over 1.5 a game..and are you counting full games? Does his concussion game count as a game? What does this info do for us? Explain about your finding of these stats. Its just spam to me..and to mostly everyone else. Just explain what your point is...not trying to be mean..but someone has to say it.

I used the yahoo stats flat out. To do what he will get in 38 games in yards I multiplied the Yards per game on trent X 38. I divided his TDs in his carrer by his games played and multiplied it by 38, same with INT. For rating I found a QB rating finder and plugged them in. Is this the info you needed?

Both of them are bottom feeders when it comes to quality NFL QB's.

i personally am tired of debating JP vs. TE....this argument is so last season.

Let's move on.

I'd like to give Trent a few years more before calling him a failure. He has showed some serious up side and I think that if he can get his head around whatever it is bothering him now, it will make him a better QB in the future.

if we get a good OL they both could be great QB's, I prefer JP

If he continues to play the way he has , bring in another qb and wait for him to learn from the bench.
