Giggity.

Receiver Josh Reed (http://www.examiner.com/Subject-Josh_Reed.html) was back in his familiar spot in the far corner of the Bills locker room after practice Thursday, joking and holding court with his teammates as if he hadn't seen them in years. For Reed, it sure felt that way after he spent most of the past three weeks in the training room rehabbing a nasty sprain to his right ankle. Asked how eager he was to finally be ready to return to action, Reed said "Ab-so-lute-ly," emphasizing every syllable.
"Man, it's been dreadful sitting," said Reed.
What's worse was watching the Bills (5-5) drop from first to last in the AFC East (http://www.examiner.com/Subject-AFC_East_Division.html) now that they've lost four straight and five of six to prepare for a game at Kansas City (http://www.examiner.com/Subject-Kansas_City.html) (1-9) on Sunday.

Reed’s role could be limited (http://blogs.buffalobills.com/2008/11/21/reeds-role-could-be-limited/)

With Josh Reed unable to increase his practice workload through the course of the week, it will bear watching on Sunday to see just how much of a workload he’ll be given in the game.
My thinking is since he hasn’t been able to practice fully all week, the staff is likely hesitant to throw him back into the lineup full time.
I believe Reed will be used on a part time basis where he’s likely out there on third downs to help sustain drives and get first downs, but I’m not certain they’ll use him in the run game as much.
Blocking in the run game may put too much stress on that high ankle sprain from which he’s just recovered. There is also a greater chance of getting rolled up from behind when blocking in the run game and re-injuring the ankle.
So my guess is he has a part-time role on Sunday, is part of the third down package, two-minute and probably red zone and not much more. That means Steve Johnson’s role will be increased as expected.

:ill: At least he'll be out there when we need him. I think Johnson will be able to pick up the extra slack especially when it comes to run blocking. I don't think it was a coincidence that the run game looked a little better after SJ replaced Hardy.

Amazing, two years ago people were calling for his head, now people can't wait for him to get back.
